With their own silk farm, our supplier has complete control of the entire process - from growing mulberry trees to spinning the silk to the final product on the production line, they are able to enforce the strictest quality guidelines and standards. 

100% Pure Mulberry Silk

Did you know mulberry silk threads are the finest silk on planet Earth? They are stronger, smoother, longer, and more uniformly colored than any other type of silk. Due to its all-natural fiber, silk is more expensive than satin and polyester. 22 Momme

So what is a momme anyway? A momme is a measurement of silk weight. The thicker and heavier the silk, the higher the momme will be. A high momme weight indicates higher quality, more durability, and a softer feel. We guarantee all of our products to be 22 momme. Why? A 19 momme pillowcase is still considered low quality. A 25 momme pillowcase is too heavy for bedding and is usually used for decor, like curtains. A 22 momme is the pinnacle of luxury and will quickly become your favorite indulgence. 

Grade 6A

Silk quality is graded on an A, B, and C scale. Grade A silk is the highest and finest quality whereas Grade C silk is the lowest. The number in front of the letter is another indicator of quality (2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A). Grade 6A silk is the highest quality, most luxurious silk that money can buy. At The Silk Treatment we only use Grade 6A silk. Like we said, we only want the best of the best!
